Oriental inspiration

In this beautiful haussmanian apartment near Invalides, the stained-glass windows are meant to give a sophisticated touch to the entrance while hiding the view onto the grey courtyard.

The whole project is based on the contrast between a minimal Art Déco structure and richly ornated oriental pieces of white glass. These two seemingly opposed visual languages highlight each other and reach an unexpected and elegant harmony.
