Stained-glass creation near the Eiffel Tower
The explosion-like effect of destructured geometry
In this apartment, located at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, the windows give the impression of a stained-glass wall. The composition works as a triptych when one is in the hallway, but also functions as a diptych when seen from the living room.
The long vertical lines, punctuated by touches of colored glass create an “exploded” effect, and play on the variations in intensity between very dense areas and sparser ones. The stained-glass windows conceal an interior courtyard while letting in the light. In the kitchen, the panels echo the main triptych and thereby continue a sense of harmony throughout the residence.
