While redecorating the Splendid Hotel in Annecy, the owners felt the need to create an intimate atmosphere in the restaurant, while preserving the natural light that flows in from the windows. It was therefore quite natural to conceive a stained-glass wall with textured glass that would divide the space without blocking the light.
The choice of colors was guided by the furniture and grey floor. The pink echoes the tiles and the bright yellow highlights the lead lines of the composition. The geometry of the whole work is softened by the curved pieces of glass that add a rythmical feel to the work.
