Art Deco windows near the Luxembourg gardens

Exuberant red, elegant textures

The project consists in four Art Déco windows designed for the entrance space and the library. The appartment was beautifully renovated in a way that combined classical hausmmannian elements with contemporary furniture and lighting. Therefore, it seemed important to create stained-glass panels that would make reference to the traditional Art Déco style but would, at the same time, convey a sense of contemporary elegance.

The windows look out on a disgraceful courtyard so that the stained-glass panels hide the view while decorating the space. Appart from three different shades of grey, I chose a bright poppy red that gives life to the compositions.
