Stained-glass window near Raspail

A dialogue between irisdescent and textured glass

This stained-glass work combines strict geometrical lines with dancing curves. I am very much attracted to the contrast between these two languages and the tension they create in a composition.

The panels are destined for a window with very little light, which demands a quite specific selection of glass. The opal has a strong presence even when poorly lit, while the green turns iridescent when the light fades.
