Stained-glass wall rue Michel Ange
Staging the gaze
This stained-glass wall was designed to play with perspectives. From the entrance, the viewer enjoys an unobstructed view of the stained-glass window, which seems to emerge directly from the wall thanks to its discreet white frame. The textures let the sunlight through while hiding the courtyard behind. A quick step aside reveals another stained-glass window in the same style. In fact, it's a series of stained-glass windows that adorn the hallway and offer a remarkable view of the composition from the living room. The whole is gradually revealed as you move around. The apartment is quiet and elegant. The space is mostly white, punctuated by the natural tones of the wood and a few touches of powdery colors. In this soft and luminous atmosphere, pastel shades semmed the right choice to me: champagne and pearl grey, brightened by the vibrancy of a few pieces of plum-coloured glass. The textures are strong and create shades of white depending on how they filter the light.
